Risk analysis and action plan: Carry out a thorough risk analysis and create an action plan. Typical elements include fire safety meetings to review incidents and training, regular fire rounds (weekly or monthly), external inspections and staff training.

Fire safety meetings: Runwell recommends scheduling four fire safety meetings each year. Use the calendar to plan and document these meetings and assign fire drills so nothing is forgotten.

Fire rounds: Weekly fire rounds should be added as tasks. A typical round checks the fire alarm system, sprinklers, emergency lighting, extinguishers, smoke vents, escape routes and fire‑resistant construction. Any deviations are logged through the feedback module so management can resolve them.
